Then, I ran the proppage. Still, I end up with the same problem, graphedit crashes when I hit "Directshow Filters". I know it is hard to figure out as it is difficult to duplicate the problem, as I said, I have another SDK running totally fine on a different machine.

But I am just really clueless at this point. Using this application, I can see all the directshow filters. But the problem with graphedit still remains. Still clueless Thanks for the hint. I realized that I had a couple of third party filterers installed when I was playing various video tools. So, I uninstalled all the suspecious packages, even including ffdshow, megui, MatroskaSplitter, etc.

After doing that, I can now see the directshow filteres in the graphedit! Even though I am not sure which specific package caused the trouble.
